Assessment & Diagnostic Services

Understanding the “why” behind persistent emotional, behavioral, attentional, or interpersonal challenges can be an important step toward meaningful change. We offer comprehensive ADHD assessments and structured diagnostic interviews designed to provide deeper insight into how you think, feel, relate, and function.

Whether you are seeking answers for longstanding difficulties, exploring possible diagnoses, or looking for more targeted treatment recommendations, our evaluation process is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based assessment practices.

Our services are designed to help individuals gain greater clarity, reduce uncertainty, and move forward with a more informed understanding of their mental health and personal experiences.

Services Include:

Many people live for years feeling overwhelmed, scattered, chronically unmotivated, emotionally reactive, or unable to meet their own expectations — without realizing that ADHD may be contributing to these challenges. ADHD can look very different across individuals and is often misunderstood, especially in adults, women, high-achieving professionals, and individuals who have developed strong coping strategies over time. A comprehensive ADHD assessment can help clarify whether ADHD is present and distinguish it from other concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, learning differences, or executive functioning difficulties.

Our ADHD evaluations are streamlined and tailored to focus on ruling in or out a diagnosis of ADHD. Following the evaluation, clients receive feedback regarding diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations tailored to their needs and goals, as well as documentation providing support for accommodations if applicable. More information on our process can be found here.

Structured Diagnostic Assessments for Mental Health Disorders & Personality Disorders

We offer standalone clinical diagnostic interviews using the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5 (SCID-5), an evidence-based, gold-standard assessment tool designed to help clarify psychiatric and personality disorder diagnoses through a comprehensive clinician-led interview process.

Unlike brief screening tools or self-report questionnaires, the SCID-5 is a structured diagnostic interview administered collaboratively by a trained psychologist. It is designed to evaluate symptoms in depth, explore diagnostic patterns over time, and differentiate between conditions that may appear similar on the surface.

Our SCID-5 evaluations provide nuanced diagnostic clarification to help individuals and their care teams determine the best path forward.

Personality Disorder Assessment

As part of our clinical interview service, we also offer the SCID-5-PD, a specialized module focused specifically on personality disorders and enduring patterns of emotional and interpersonal functioning.

Personality disorders often involve longstanding patterns related to:

  • Relationships and attachment

  • Emotional regulation

  • Identity and self-image

  • Coping styles

  • Impulse control

  • Sensitivity to rejection, criticism, or abandonment

  • Perfectionism, rigidity, or interpersonal conflict

These patterns can significantly affect relationships, work, self-esteem, and overall well-being, yet may go unrecognized or be misunderstood for many years.
